Technical Considerations

The following technical matters are being assessed as part of the proposed development. Detailed plans, surveys and reports will be submitted in support of the planning application and will be available for the public to review online via the Bromsgrove Planning Portal.

Driving

Transport and Access

The Site will be accessed by continuing the existing Cofton Lake Road carriageway into the Site. The access arrangements will include a 5m wide access road, traffic calming measures such as narrowing the road in front of properties 21 and 42, and the provision of 2m footways on both sides of the carriageway to tie into the existing provision.

Pedestrian access will be facilitated by connections to Footpath 515 and Bridleway 518. Cycle accesses will be provided via the new access and carriageway of Cofton Lake Road and via Bridleway 518.
